Merino Wool is one of the most breathable fibres; in fact, it can absorb large amounts of vapour that are then released into the air, thus keeping the wearer drier.

Compared to synthetic fabrics, therefore, Merino Wool is active and reacts to changes in body temperature by keeping warm when it is cold, but dispersing heat and moisture when it is hot. Furthermore, Merino Wool is able to absorb the sweat molecules responsible for odours, which are only released after washing.
