The entire set is knitted from pure Merino wool, while the delicate teddy bear motif on the front is created using a refined tubular knitting technique.

The baby set is made from premium pure virgin extrafine Merino wool produced by one of Italy’s finest spinning mills. The yarn is shrink-resistant and certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Product Class I.

Merino wool is renowned worldwide for its exceptional softness, durability, versatility and natural performance.

It is a 100% natural fibre made from virgin, non-recycled wool.

At a microscopic level, each Merino wool fibre behaves like a tiny coiled spring. Once bent or compressed, it naturally returns towards its original shape. This gives Merino wool garments a natural resistance to creasing and helps them retain their shape over time.

Pure virgin Merino wool is also one of the most breathable natural fibres. It can absorb significant amounts of moisture vapour and gradually release them into the air, helping keep the baby’s skin pleasantly dry and comfortable.

One of Merino wool’s most remarkable qualities is its ability to respond naturally to changes in body temperature. It retains warmth when it is cold and releases excess heat and moisture when temperatures rise.

Thanks to its excellent thermoregulating properties, Merino wool helps maintain a balanced body temperature, making it particularly suitable for babies who frequently experience changes between indoor and outdoor temperatures.

Merino wool fibres can also trap the molecules responsible for perspiration odours, which are then released during washing, helping the garments stay fresher for longer.

Extrafine Merino wool fibres are exceptionally thin and flexible. They can bend much more easily than traditional wool fibres, giving the set its remarkable softness and making it gentle against delicate baby skin.

Most Merino wool garments can be washed in a domestic washing machine at 30°C using a delicate or wool cycle, making everyday care simple and practical.

Merino wool also provides a naturally high level of protection against UV radiation, greater than that offered by many synthetic fabrics and conventional cotton.
