It is a 100% natural fiber and is produced by 71 million sheep that live on water, air, sun and grass. 

On a microscopic level, each fibre of Merino wool is like a spiral spring that, after being bent, returns to its natural shape. This gives the merino wool garments a natural resistance to creasing and therefore makes the garments easy to care for.

Merino wool is one of the most breathable fibers, in fact, it can absorb large amounts of steam that are then released into the air, keeping the wearer drier.

Compared to synthetic fabrics, therefore, merino wool is active and reacts to changes in body temperature by keeping warm when it’s cold, but dispersing heat and moisture when it’s hot. Merino wool also absorbs the odour-producing sweat molecules, which are released only after washing.
